Welcome to Everstead Woodshop – and thank you for stopping by!
If you know me, you’ve probably already figured out that I’m far more comfortable behind a table saw than behind a keyboard. So if this website feels a little rough around the edges, I hope you’ll see it as part of the charm!
My woodworking journey began around the age of 14, learning from my father as he crafted furniture for our home. I grew up in the scent of fresh-cut wood and sawdust, watching and learning as he turned raw lumber into beautiful, lasting pieces. Over time, I came to believe that with patience, care, and the right tools, you can build just about anything.
As I got older, I started to notice the difference between mass-produced furniture and the pieces my father made by hand. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to quality set a standard that still inspires me today. He didn’t build things to sell—he built them to last.
When he passed away, I inherited his well-used tools—many of which had seen decades of service in his hands. I still use them in my shop today, carrying on his legacy in each piece I create.
These days, I continue building furniture for friends, family, and clients, and I get real joy from sharing what I’ve learned with others. Every project is a chance to keep the tradition alive.
Thanks again for visiting Everstead Woodshop. I’d love to hear from you—so don’t hesitate to reach out!
